Beneficiaries of the service include Libyan citizens residing in the United States either permanently or temporarily.

Please send the following documents to the Libyan Embassy at:

  • Completed power of attorney application form
  • Copy of the applicant’s passport and a copy of a US Driving License or Identification Card.
  • Certification of the authenticity for the applicant's signature from an accredited notary public.
  • $20 money order for fee for power of attorney made out to the Embassy of Libya
  • Prepaid envelope with tracking number to return the document

Please be sure to adhere to the following:

  • In case of non-attendance in person at the Embassy premises, a signature of the client authenticated by notary public is required.
  • Writing must only be in designated spaces on the form.
  • The thumbprint must be in the thumbprint position.
  • The written subject of the power of attorney should be clearly defined.
